Overview:
Schedule and Work Location Requirements
This full-time position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Work hours will vary between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with staggered 8.5-hour shifts based on operational needs.
The incumbent must be able to work in both the Yellow Lab and Orange Lab as assigned.
Occasional Saturday coverage may be required at the Orange Lab, with hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Both laboratories are closed on Sundays and major holidays.
Job Description Summary:
Provides clerical and patient care support, especially regarding specimen collection and specimen processing. Performs patient registration, specimen accessioning, specimen collection (including venipuncture, capillary, sweat chloride, and miscellaneous other collections), ensuring specimen preparation and processing is completed, and waived laboratory testing.
