Pivotal Health is looking for a detail oriented and driven Missing Information Specialist to join our growing healthcare operations team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced healthcare environment, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in ensuring patient records and insurance information are accurate and complete.

As a Missing Information Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting patient care operations by working directly with providers, patients, and medical documentation to resolve missing or incomplete information quickly and efficiently.

What You Will Do:

⭐ Contact providers by phone and fax to obtain missing medical records, diagnosis codes, and required documentation

⭐ Review and analyze medical records for completeness and accuracy

⭐ Verify and obtain insurance information from providers and patients

⭐ Understand and work with diagnosis codes and contraindications

⭐ Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on outstanding items

⭐ Communicate professionally with providers, patients, and internal teams

⭐ Support operational efficiency by ensuring records are processed in a timely manner

What We Are Looking For:

✔ Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related field

✔ Understanding of medical terminology and medical records

✔ Strong verbal and written communication skills

✔ Excellent organizational and time management abilities

✔ Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills

✔ Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player

✔ High school diploma or equivalent required
