No prior medical imaging experience is required, though candidates should possess a solid foundation in electronics, either through formal education or equivalent work experience. This role is critical to ensuring the optimal performance of medical imaging systems, contributing to the high standard of patient care
  Requirements
  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical imaging equipment under supervision, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.Diagnose and resolve issues related to electronic components, systems, and imaging performance.Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new or repaired medical imaging systemsMaintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and any required follow-up.Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards related to medical equipment maintenance and repair.Collaborate with senior technicians and other team members to ensure efficient repair and service of equipment.Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, providing status updates on equipment repairs.Follow manufacturer guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to stay current with emerging technologies and industry trendsObserves and promote Probo's standards and policies on safety, quality and productivity.Primary job responsibilities are those which an employee must be able to perform with or without accommodation. Probo Medical reserves the right to revise the job description as well as require that other duties be performed as needed.QUALIFICATIONSRequired Education and Experience:Associate's degree or certificate in electronics or a related field (or equivalent work experience).Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Basic computer skills, with an aptitude for learning specialized software and diagnostic tools.A proactive and adaptable attitude towards learning new technologies and repair techniques.Preferred Education and Experience:Medical Imaging Experience preferred but not required.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSSome travel...
