This is a great opportunity for someone looking to be embedded in a community clinic while covering some hospital call (1:6) for general cardiology services. Top 50 Cardiovascular Hospital Leapfrog A rated Facility Join an established, busy practice with experienced colleagues Full scope of cardiovascular services offered, included structural heart and CVT Surgery (no transplant) Live and work on the beautiful Gulf Coast of Florida Community clinic with established patient panel Responsibilities: Provide medical services to patients in an assigned area. Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management. Recommend, participate in, and work to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients. Accept patient referrals from other physicians. Act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.
