At CareVet of Southern Illinois, experienced veterinarians can receive a customized first-year compensation package totaling up to $200K, based on experience. Choose the structure that fits your goals — higher guaranteed base salary or a larger signing bonus.
You’ll also receive production pay, schedule flexibility, true paid time off, and operational support so leadership responsibilities stay focused on medicine and team development.
This is a hands-on clinical leadership position guiding a respected, multi-doctor hospital.
You will:
Lead and uphold medical standards of care
Mentor and support three Associate DVMs
Collaborate with the Practice Manager on workflow and hospital initiatives
Guide case management and treatment approaches
Foster a positive, accountable team culture
Maintain an active clinical caseload
