Reporting to, and working in collaboration with, the Chief Clinical Officer, the Medical Director serves as the clinical and administrative leader of psychiatric and medical services for the organization. The Medical Director is part of the agency ELT (Executive Leadership Team), and participates in associated projects and activities. This key executive role ensures the delivery of high-quality, ethical, and evidence-based behavioral healthcare in alignment with the organization's nonprofit mission, as well as all relevant state, federal, and accreditation standards across the organization. The Medical Director supervises the Director of Nursing, and provides oversight and consultation to agency physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses, assuring standardized performance expectations and adherence to work processes. The Medical Director will integrate medical and psychiatric components into a holistic service delivery model.
Given the history and size of Pacific Clinics, there are two Medical Director positions. One positioned for NCIE (Northern California and Inland Empire) and the other for LASC (Los Angeles South Coast) Regions, with coordination between the Medical Directors playing a pivotal role in the position.
Compensation We Offer
Initial compensation for this Part-Time position ranges from $220,000 to $240,000 annually; depending on experience, location, and internal equity considerations.
