About Peregrine Peregrine is a fast-growing behavioral health services and technology platform that partners with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Community Health Centers (CHCs) to expand access to high-quality mental health and substance use disorder care. We combine technology, clinical operations, and mission-driven partnerships to bring behavioral health services to underserved communities across multiple states.
Position Summary The Medical Director will serve as a key member of Peregrine's leadership team, responsible for clinical oversight, medical governance, and partnership with operational and product teams to drive clinical excellence across the organization. This leader will split their time between administrative leadership and direct patient care.
The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of community health, value-based care, and MAT programs, with a passion for expanding access to care in underserved communities. This is both a clinical leadership and a strategic growth role: the Medical Director will help shape Peregrine's revenue-generating clinical programs (e.g., CoCM), standardize clinical processes across markets, and represent Peregrine externally as a thought leader.

The Medical Director should be comfortable working at the intersection of clinical practice, operations, compliance, and business growth. The role is viewed as both a clinical leadership investment and a growth and marketing lever, central to Peregrine's ability to scale sustainably.
