The role requires managing patient visits, ensuring meticulous attention to documentation, and fostering collaboration with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include delivering primary care for both chronic and acute medical conditions, enhancing patient scheduling processes to reduce no-shows, and completing all necessary documentation promptly with accurate billing codes. You'll oversee coordinated efforts between front desk staff and medical coordinators to streamline care for scheduled and walk-in patients, supervise mid-level practitioners, and ensure timely processing of laboratory and diagnostic test results.
Candidates must possess a medical license (MD/DO), with valid DEA and Furnishing licenses, and demonstrate at least two years of experience in an outpatient primary care setting. Commitment to continuous education, such as obtaining AAHIVM Certification, and maintaining CPR/BLS certifications, is essential.
