Position Summary:
We are supporting a pathology and diagnostics organization in the search for a Medical Director,
Flow Cytometry. This role provides medical leadership and oversight for flow cytometry and related
hematopathology services, combining clinical sign-out responsibilities with operational and quality
management. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to apply clinical expertise while
contributing to operational excellence in a high-quality laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:
● Provide medical direction and oversight for flow cytometry services
● Sign out Flow Cytometry, FISH, and Bone Marrow cases
● Deliver clinical consultation services to referring providers
● Oversee quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) initiatives
● Support laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow efficiency
● Collaborate with leadership on laboratory growth, outreach, and service development
● Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and licensure standards
Required Qualifications:
● MD with completion of a Hematopathology Fellowship
● Demonstrated experience with: Flow Cytometry, FISH testing, Bone marrow interpretation
● Active California medical license required
● Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
