Medical Director (DVM) – Central Point, OR

 

A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director (DVM) to lead its clinical team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and maintaining high standards of medical excellence.

 

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care
  • Mentor and support veterinarians and clinical staff
  • Establish and uphold medical protocols and standards
  • Promote continuous improvement in patient outcomes and client satisfaction
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of veterinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards
  • Foster strong communication and teamwork throughout the practice

 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
  • Active veterinary license in good standing
  • Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Commitment to excellence in patient care and team development
