A veterinary practice is seeking an experienced Medical Director (DVM) to lead its clinical team while continuing to provide exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about leadership, mentorship, and maintaining high standards of medical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality medical and surgical care
- Mentor and support veterinarians and clinical staff
- Establish and uphold medical protocols and standards
- Promote continuous improvement in patient outcomes and client satisfaction
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of veterinary team members
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and professional standards
- Foster strong communication and teamwork throughout the practice
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active veterinary license in good standing
- Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills
- Previous leadership experience preferred
