Responsibilities Include:
- Provide expert management of patient care, focusing on infectious diseases.
- Ensure outstanding service by coordinating with the care team to optimize scheduling and reduce patient no-shows.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, including effective documentation and appropriate billing codes.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditions, engaging in both preventative care and urgent consultations.
- Collaborate closely with administrative and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient workflows.
- Quickly evaluate and address lab results, prescription requests, and patient communications.
- Support team development by mentoring mid-level providers and participating in ongoing professional growth.
Qualifications:
- An MD or DO with a current state-specific medical board license.
- Proven experience in outpatient healthcare environments, with a focus on infectious diseases.
- A valid DEA number and Furnishing License are required.
- Must secure AAHIVM certification within 18 months of employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
