SMC Ltd. is a global, premium partner to the medical market. Our teams thrive on speed, advanced technology, and exceptional performance. With decades of manufacturing expertise and sustained growth, we offer outstanding opportunities for people who are just as dedicated.
You’ll begin by reviewing priorities in IQMS and aligning your work cell for the day’s goals. You coordinate all cell activities, verify with Technicians that equipment and machines are producing to the inspection plan, and train manufacturing associates to ensure every part meets compliance requirements. Throughout the shift, you maintain clean, organized stations, execute 6S and Lean tasks, and oversee production and training across the cell.
As issues arise, you dive into root cause analysis and problem solving, elevate quality and documentation concerns to Assistant Supervisors/Supervisors, and confirm that line clearances (labels, parts, and documents) are completed accurately. You’ll also handle production reporting, operate assigned work centers and assembly stations, and support new project setups in tandem with Engineering. When needed, you set up tables/fixtures, run secondary automation equipment, and ensure all paperwork and labels match physical counts. Safety is constant—you learn and follow the ‘Lock Out Tag Out’ procedure as an affected employee and keep the area safe and efficient.
