Role: Operator Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Sylmar, CA
Schedule:Monday Friday | 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operator to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling, testing, repairing, and inspecting medical devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related components while following established procedures and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will possess strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, repair, test, and inspect medical device components and finished products.
  • Follow standardized work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and maintain traceability records.
  • Handle and maneuver small components and parts with precision.
  • Utilize electronic data collection systems and computer-based applications.
  • Communicate production issues, improvements, and solutions effectively to supervisors and team members.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
  • Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Monitor production quality and identify potential issues.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with manufacturing teams to meet production and quality goals.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures and verbal instructions.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic data entry systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to handle small parts and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a production environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous medical device, manufacturing, assembly, production, or cleanroom experience.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
