Job Title: Full Cycle Medical Biller/Collector (Hybrid)
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, flexible schedule)
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 / Hourly
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Role:
Addison Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to find a Full Cycle Medical Biller/Collector with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) collections. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit and track insurance claims and patient invoices
- Follow up on outstanding balances, denials, and underpayments
- Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies with payers
- Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation
- Analyze AR reports and identify trends in denials or delays
- Utilize multiple EMR systems to manage billing workflows
- Stay current on payer guidelines and billing code updates
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least 1 year of medical billing and collections experience, preferably in a specialty clinic setting
- Knowledge: Familiarity with the full revenue cycle, including front-end and back-end processes
- Payers: Experience working with both commercial and government insurance plans
- Systems: Exposure to multiple EMRs is a plus (training provided)
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to collections
- Personality: Self-starter who can work independently without micromanagement
