Position: Medical Biller
Location: Austintown, OH
Pay: $15.00 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Biller to join our outpatient behavioral health team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for supporting the billing process by submitting claims, verifying client information, following up on outstanding balances, and assisting with accurate and timely reimbursement.
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working with confidential information, and has strong attention to detail. Experience in healthcare billing, insurance verification, or behavioral health is preferred but not required.
Submit and track insurance claims for outpatient behavioral health services
Verify client demographic and insurance information for accuracy
Review claims for completeness and resolve billing errors
Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
Post payments and maintain accurate billing records
Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and requirements
Assist with accounts receivable follow-up
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure accurate documentation for billing purposes
Perform other administrative duties as needed
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous medical billing, healthcare administration, or insurance experience preferred
Knowledge of insurance claims processes and medical terminology preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
Behavioral health billing experience
Medicaid, Medicare, or commercial insurance billing experience
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Experience working in a healthcare or outpatient setting
Competitive hourly pay of $15.00/hour
