PREMIER URGENT CARE SUNTREE

Join our family owned urgent care team in Melbourne, FL! The Basic Machine Operator (X-Ray Tech) will perform basic diagnostic medical imaging studies in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. This individual will also assist with clinical and administrative duties to support our urgent care providers and ensure an excellent patient experience. Must have current X-Ray Florida Certification.  


Responsibilities 
  • Perform Physician ordered X-Rays
  • Obtain patient vitals, preparing patient and exam room for treatment
  • Assist providers with preparing for minor procedures, minor surgeries, and physicals
  • Perform non-intravenous injections, apply splints and dressings
  • Thoroughly document all patient services within a patient’s chart
  • Maintain all equipment, troubleshoot problems as needed, and call in for repairs when necessary
  • Follow all required safety regulations, including wearing appropriate safety gear, to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Current Florida state X-Ray Certification/license is required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
