Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinical operations within a Radiation Therapy unit. This role involves assisting physicians and healthcare staff with patient care, documentation, and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EPIC EMR and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care procedures
Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
Record vital signs and accurately document patient information in EPIC EMR
Perform administrative tasks including scheduling, chart management, and patient coordination
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Ensure compliance with established healthcare protocols and regulations
Float to other units as needed
Support overall clinic workflow and enhance patient experience
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (outpatient setting required)
Experience working in a fast-paced clinical environment
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system (required)
Strong interpersonal and patient care skills
Ability to multitask and manage both clinical and administrative duties
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Medical Assistant Diploma from an accredited program
Certifications
BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) – Required
