This Ward Clinic features Team Based Primary Care led by Internal Medicine and Family Practice providers to consistently manage the overall health care needs for patients of all ages. On-site walk-in laboratory and X-ray imaging bring sophisticated diagnostic services to this area.

Supported by the most advanced electronic medical record system the clinics team leverages the MyChart patient portal which engages patients to connect with their doctor and care team manage their health optimize their appointments and help family member track their health.

As a Medical Assistant you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities.

Minimum Qualifications High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certified Medical Assistant CMA OR Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry ABR-OE from the American Association of Medical Assistants AAMA OR Registered Medical Assistant RMA from the American Medical Technologist AMT OR Nationally Certified Medical Assistant NCMA from the National Center for Competency testing NCCT OR Registered Medical Assistant RMA from American Registry of Medical Assistants OR Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant NRCMA from National Association for Health Professionals NAHP OR Clinical Medical Assistant Certification CMAC from the American Medical Certification Association AMCA OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CCMA from the National Healthcareer Association NHA.

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support BLS CPR Card. Must Be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period.

Preferred Experience Six 6 months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology CPT and/or International Classification of Disease ICD-10 coding. Experience with electronic medical records.
