Requirements: High School Graduateor GED Major Responsibilities: Perform clinical duties such as assisting provider with examinations, procedures and obtaining vital signs. Clean instruments and exam rooms as needed. Prepare instruments for sterilization as required. Order and stock exam rooms with appropriate medical supplies. Call in prescriptions as directed by the provider. May schedule preâ€'admission and diagnostic testing, follow up with patients after surgery. May perform any of the following administrative duties: answering telephone inquiries, scheduling, organizing patient charts, filing, pulling and copying patient records. Maintain and adhere to established Core policies and procedures and federal regulations, including, patient confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
