Schedule:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support both front and back office operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The Medical Assistant will assist with patient intake, rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, Point of Care (POC) testing, scheduling, and EMR documentation while ensuring exceptional patient care and efficient clinic operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support front and back office clinical operations
  • Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits
  • Obtain and accurately document patient vital signs
  • Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures
  • Administer vaccines as directed
  • Assist with EKGs and Point of Care (POC) testing
  • Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage phone communications
  • Provide clinical support to providers and staff as needed
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with clinic staff
  • Ensure smooth patient flow and positive patient experience
  • Follow clinic safety, compliance, and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience required
  • Front and back office experience required
  • Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
  • EKG experience required
  • Point of Care (POC) testing experience required
  • Patient rooming and vital signs experience required
  • Scheduling experience required
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required
  • Current BLS or CPR certification required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills required
  • High attention to detail required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
  • Occupational Health experience strongly preferred
  • Passion for health education and community outreach preferred
