Willis Knighton Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant with previous experience in an ENT clinic. The Medical Assistant will provide nursing care to patients in the physician offices under the supervision of the clinical physician. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: assessing the health status of patients and collaborating with the nursing staff and physician to establish care procedures; contributing to the planning of appropriate nursing interventions; medication administration for oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal; document patient assessment; communicate pertinent information regarding patient condition to other members of the health care team; and provides information to patient/family regarding disease process or diagnostic procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: A graduate of an approved medical assistant program Nationalcertificationis required Preferably(2)yearsofpatientcaredutiesinahospital,orphysicianoffice practice.
