Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking a Medical Assistant for our client in Seattle, WA 98104. This is a 13-week contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Seattle, WA 98104
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (08:45 - 17:15)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures.
  • Obtaining and documenting vital signs, including height, weight, pulse oximetry, and blood pressure.
  • Performing 12-lead EKG/ECG testing as ordered.
  • Administering immunizations and intramuscular injections, including pediatric vaccinations.
  • Collecting, labeling, and handling specimens in accordance with clinic protocols.
  • Assisting providers with patient care and clinical procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely patient documentation within the electronic medical record.
  • Providing excellent customer service and professional patient interactions.
  • Ensuring exam rooms are stocked, organized, and prepared for patient visits.
  • Following infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality standards.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to support efficient clinic operations.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
  • A current Washington State Medical Assistant credential, with Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) preferred.
  • Medical Assistant-Registered (MA-R) candidates will be considered.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least six (6) months of experience working as a Medical Assistant in an adult, pediatric, outpatient, or family medicine clinic setting.
  • Experience obtaining vital signs, performing EKG/ECG testing, administering injections, and handling specimen collection.
  • Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.
  • Experience with patient rooming and clinical documentation preferred.
  • A professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
