Our client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Medical Assistant for their Seattle, WA location.

Responsibilities:

• Authorization Forms
• Chart Preparation
• Insurance Verification
• Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests
• Scheduling appointments*
• Stocking Supplies
• Telephone Triage
• Professional Knowledge and Skills
• Follow up phone calls
• Rooming Patients
• Vital Signs
• Height/Weight
• Obtain Vital Signs
• Pulse Oximetry
• Specimen Collection
• Labeling of specimens
• Urine - UA/Clean Catch
• Wound
• Prepare for Exam
• Record History/Medications/Allergies
• Laboratory Tests
• Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis
• MA-C Required. Normal MA duties; collecting vitals, rooming patients, setting up rooms, supporting Providers, etc.

Requirements:

• Years of Experience: 2 year(s)
• Charting System: Required, Epic
• Certfications:BLS
• Skills marked with * are preferred
• Work Settings
• Adult Outpatient Clinic
• Years of Experience REQ: 1
• Certs REQ: BLS, MA-C
• Skills REQ: healthcare, healthcare terminology.
• Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? As Needed Within Skillset
• Interdisciplinary Support:Interpretation Services, Unit Secretary
• Patient Diagnoses: Chronic pain, degenerative diseases, addiction medicine
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: Standard rooming (obtain, ht, wt, vitals), charting, answering provider pools in Epic (mychart). MA's do POCT Utox in clinic.
