Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 5x8-Hour (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Orientation: 12 hours (Non-billable)
Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a radiation therapy outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative experience in an outpatient environment and be comfortable supporting patient flow in a fast-paced specialty clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Support radiation therapy clinical team with daily patient care activities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist with clinical procedures
- Take vital signs and document patient information accurately
- Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and front office coordination
- Maintain and update electronic medical records in EPIC
- Ensure exam rooms are properly prepared and stocked
- Follow all clinical safety, infection control, and compliance protocols
- Float to other areas as needed within scope
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience
- Outpatient clinical experience required
- Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
- High School Diploma or GED required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only) required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Strong clinical and patient communication skills
