    About MainStreet Pediatrics

    MainStreet Pediatrics provides comprehensive pediatric care for children from infancy through adolescence. Our dedicated team delivers preventive care, vaccinations, developmental screenings, and treatment in a welcoming, family-centered environment.

    Position Summary

    As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting providers and ensuring a seamless patient experience. This position combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities while helping maintain efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining and documenting vital signs and medical information.
    • Assist providers before and during patient visits to support quality care and patient safety.
    • Collect specimens and administer injections as appropriate.
    • Schedule appointments, answer incoming calls, and assist with patient inquiries.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED preferred

    Experience

    • One to three years of relevant medical assistant experience preferred

    Certifications

    • Certified Medical Assistant (required for designated practices)
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification (required for designated practices)
