Description
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly organized Medical Assistant to join our Pediatric healthcare team. In this role, you will support physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff by performing a combination of administrative and patient care duties. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates exceptional communication skills, and is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while ensuring efficient daily office operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals with both administrative and clinical tasks under the direction of a physician.
- Schedule patient appointments, maintain medical records, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with office policies and procedures.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms by ensuring supplies and equipment are properly stocked, cleaned, and ready for patient care.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and create a positive, professional experience throughout their visit.
- Interview patients to obtain and accurately document medical histories, symptoms, medications, and other relevant healthcare information.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and other patient health data.
Assist with patient examinations and procedures while maintaining patient comfort, privacy, and confidentiality.
Accurately document patient information, test results, and clinical observations in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. - Support clinic operations by completing additional administrative and clinical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least One (1) or more years of experience and knowledge working as a Medical Assistant
- Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California
- High school diploma or GED
- (Preferred) Fluent in Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese

- The total pay range for this role is: $20 - $24 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
