Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawaiis only maternity newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawaiis leader in the care of women, infants, and children. With 253 beds, the not-for-profit hospital delivers 6000 babies a year and is also a medical teaching and research facility.

As the Medical Assistant, you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. Certified Medical Assistant CMA, OR Assessment Based Recognition in Order Entry ABR-OE from the American Association of Medical Assistants AAMA, OR Registered Medical Assistant RMA from the American Medical Technologist AMT, OR Nationally Certified Medical Assistant NCMA from the National Center for Competency testing NCCT, OR Registered Medical Assistant RMA from American Registry of Medical Assistants, OR Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant NRCMA from National Association for Health Professionals NAHP, OR Clinical Medical Assistant Certification CMAC from the American Medical Certification Association AMCA, OR Certified Clinical Medical Assistant CCMA from the National Healthcareer Association NHA. Preferred Experience Six months medical assistant experience, OR completion of HPH Medical Assistant Program, knowledge of Classification Procedural Terminology CPT and/or International Classification of Disease ICD-10 Coding. Experience with electronic medical records.
