Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Family Practice team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages. You will help prepare for each patient visit by organizing charts, reviewing medical histories, and coordinating necessary documentation to ensure smooth and efficient appointments.


As part of the care team, you will provide clinical and administrative support alongside physicians and nursing staff, assist with routine procedures, and help track lab tests and results to ensure timely follow-up. You will also communicate with patients to keep them informed about their care, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.


Additional responsibilities include managing medical supply inventory, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, cleaning instruments, and ensuring all equipment is properly set up and functioning.


The ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for working in a family-focused healthcare environment. Previous experience in a medical office or family practice setting is preferred.


Responsibilities 
  • Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
  • Clean instruments and equipment after use
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
  • BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fully Bilingual(English and Spanish)
