Logan Health Shelby Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dependable Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our clinic team in Shelby, Montana.
This full-time, benefits-eligible position works four 10-hour shifts each week.
Candidates who are not currently credentialed as Medical Assistants may still be considered. Training may be provided for the right candidate with previous clinical or direct patient-care experience, such as phlebotomy, CNA, EMT, patient care technician, medical scribe, or another healthcare support role.
You will work closely with providers and clinic staff to deliver responsive, patient-centered care while building meaningful relationships with patients and families.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities will vary depending on your licensure, certification, training, and scope of practice and may include:
Preparing patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
Collecting and documenting vital signs, medical histories, medications, and other patient information.
Assisting providers during examinations and treatments.
Performing specimen collection, testing, and phlebotomy when permitted.
Administering medications, immunizations, or treatments when authorized.
Coordinating referrals, testing, follow-up care, and patient communication.
Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical record documentation.
Providing education and support to patients and their families.
Collaborating with the clinic team to create a welcoming patient experience.

Who We’re Looking For

We may also consider candidates without formal Medical Assistant training who have a strong clinical background and can successfully complete the required training and competency requirements.

Qualifications
Candidates must meet the applicable education, certification, registration, training, and Montana licensure requirements for the position in which they are hired.
LPN candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain an appropriate Montana license. Medical Assistant candidates must meet the applicable requirements for the role or successfully complete the required training and competencies.
