The board-certified physicians in the Oncology department evaluate and treat all types of cancer and blood disorders. At Straubs newly renovated Outpatient Treatment Center patients receive blood transfusions chemotherapy nutritional support antibiotics and other IV therapies. Straubs Certified Oncology Nurses are trained to provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. The Straub Cancer Center team includes board certified physicians nurses registered dietitians outpatient and inpatient staff and a quality of life professional. In addition to treatment and therapy the Center offers family education and support group sessions to help patients and their families cope with illness.
