- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Naperville, IL.
Responsibilities
- Support front and back office clinical operations.
- Greet, room, and prepare patients for provider visits.
- Obtain and accurately document patient information and vital signs.
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture and blood draw procedures.
- Administer vaccines as directed.
- Perform EKGs and Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care activities.
- Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries.
- Maintain and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Ensure smooth patient flow and excellent customer service.
- Provide additional clinical support as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient care areas.
- Follow all clinic safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in addition to externship.
- Front and back office experience required.
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required.
- EKG experience required.
- Point-of-Care (POC) testing experience required.
- Scheduling and patient rooming experience required.
- Experience taking patient vital signs required.
- EMR experience required.
- Current BLS or CPR certification required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred QualificationsM
- Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.
- Occupational Health experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with health education and patient outreach preferred.
