Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our functional medicine practice in Mesa, Arizona. This position is ideal for a Medical Assistant who is passionate about integrative and functional medicine, values patient-centered care, and enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient flow, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Room patients and obtain vital signs
Assist with clinical documentation and patient charting
Support providers during examinations and procedures
Assist with functional medicine workflows and patient care plans
Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms and clinical areas
Assist with scheduling, patient education, and follow-up communication
Ensure accuracy in EMR documentation and clinical records
Provide compassionate, professional patient service
Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient office operations
Experience in a functional medicine, integrative medicine, or primary care setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
Medical Assistant certification preferred
Current BLS certification preferred
