Medical Assistant (MA) – Outpatient Clinic
Location:Maple Grove, MN
Contract Duration: 6 Weeks

Schedule:
Day Shift | 40 Hours per Week

Shift Hours:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday & Friday: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) for a short-term outpatient clinic assignment. Responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, POC testing, scheduling, EMR documentation, and supporting both clinical and administrative operations. Candidates should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Room and prepare patients for provider visits
  • Record vitals and maintain EMR documentation
  • Perform phlebotomy, venipuncture, EKGs, and POC testing
  • Assist with vaccines and clinical procedures
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Support providers and nursing staff with patient care
  • Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms
  • Deliver excellent patient communication and support

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
  • Experience with front and back-office MA duties
  • Phlebotomy, EKG, vitals, and EMR experience required
  • Current BLS or CPR certification required
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Assistant Certification preferred
  • Occupational Health experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and patient education skills
