Duties:Under the general supervision of the Director of Nursing Affairs or Assistant Directors and the clinical supervision of the Provider, the Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with all basic examinations of patients. The individual will arrange for any subsequent laboratory testing of the patient, order supplies for the treatment areas and perform other duties as requested. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan (or receive cross-training) to provide age-specific care to all parent age groups, i.e. infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.Education: High School Diploma or GED.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.Minimum Qualifications: Must have flexibility to allow for work schedule at all NEON Health Center locations.One to two years experience preferred, but not required.Medical Assistants are encouraged to complete and maintain certification with a national credentialing provider.Positions Available:Full-Time or Part-Time Work Schedule Options:Monday - Friday-8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Full-Time Hours)Monday - Friday-5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.(Part-Time Hours)Saturday/ Sunday- Weekend Hours Available
