Job Summary

• We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team and perform a variety of clinical, administrative, clerical and creative duties in an ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities 

• Schedule patient appointments
• Obtain and verify patient insurance authorizations
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical equipment 
• Assist physicians with basic medical care and procedures
• Assist with social media marketing efforts and content creation 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency (GED) is required. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. 
• Preference will be given to candidates who have successfully completed a Medical Assistant Program and earned related Certificate, Diploma, or Associate Degree.
• Preference will be given to candidates interested in a long-term employment.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Professional appearance.
• Computer literate (PC and Mac)
