    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a dedicated medical assistant to join our growing team at the Bloom Developmental Follow-up Clinic at UT Medical. This person will be responsible for assisting NP's during developmental assessments as needed and help comfort children. They will measure and record vital signs and growth metrics, such as height, weight, and head circumference, specific to infants and children. Assist with referrals to PT, OT, ST and other specialists as needed. Answer phones and triage calls for NP's. Prepare and stock examination rooms with necessary medical supplies and ensure they are sanitized between patients. Update patient information - personal and medical prior to assessments. They will also travel to outlying clinics in the region, as needed, to assist NP's with patient assessments.

    Position Qualification:

    Minimum required - High school diploma/GED

    1-3 years of healthcare experience/or training

    Medical Assistant Certification

    Pediatric Experience
