Location: Cincinnati, OH 45255 (Travel between Cincinnati & Montgomery, OH locations required)
Pay:$18–$21/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:15 AM–5:00 PM

• Travel between Cincinnati, OH and Montgomery, OH offices based on daily staffing needs.
• Mandatory orientation during Week 1 at Norwood, OH 45212.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to join. In this role, you will support physicians by providing direct patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, documenting patient information in the EMR, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and maintain patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Record vital signs, medical history, medications, and review of systems.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Prepare patient charts by reviewing and scanning medical records.
• Assist with medication refills and prior authorizations.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and insurance companies.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and order medical supplies.
• Perform clinical duties including:
  • Medication preparation (MAR)
  • Vaccinations
  • Phlebotomy
  • EKGs
  • Cardiac monitoring
  • Cast removal (as assigned)
• Respond to patient calls, MyChart messages, and EMR work queues.
• Schedule appointments, check patients in/out, and assist with pre-certifications.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all safety and regulatory standards.
• Assist with training new staff when needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
