Medical Assistant job responsibilities include greeting/screening patients, answering phones, registering patients, making appointments, taking payments and verifying insurances.
Providing physician support services that ensure that healthcare facilities run smoothly. Preparing patients and rooms for examination, assisting physicians with exams, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis.
Interested Medical Assistant candidates should possess excellent people skills, organizational skills and some medical terminology.
Weekly schedule consists of 3-12 hour shifts and rotating weekend/holiday availability is a must.
