Job Description
This role seeks a caring, motivated, and well-organized certified Medical Assistant to support a community-focused health center that provides primary care, dental, and mental health services to children and adults, with a strong emphasis on serving individuals and families living in or near public housing. The Medical Assistant supports primary care providers and nurses by delivering both clinical and administrative services that ensure smooth clinic operations, high-quality patient care, and a positive experience for patients and their families.

Work Environment
This position is based in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides primary healthcare, dental, and mental health services to children and adults in a community-focused setting, with particular attention to individuals living in or near public housing. The work environment is fast-paced and patient-centered, requiring frequent interaction with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The role involves both clinical and administrative duties in an outpatient setting, including use of electronic health record (EHR) systems, point-of-care testing equipment, and standard medical office tools. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a requirement to stay later on some Tuesdays and Thursdays, potentially until 8:00 p.m., to support extended clinic hours. The clinic emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and high customer service standards while maintaining a safe, organized, and supportive environment for both patients and staff

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.85/hr.
