Looking for a Certified Medical Assistant

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Schedule: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay is $21 to $23/ hr on W2 

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a leading healthcare organization in Grand Prairie, TX. This role is ideal for a patient-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
  • Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection, wound care, and medication administration within scope of practice.
  • Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment, including quality control checks.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and maintain exam rooms.
  • Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
  • Coordinate patient care under physician direction.
  • Assist with patient intake, screenings, and administrative support.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, HIPAA, and company policies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Intermediate computer and Excel skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge
  • HEDIS/STAR quality experience

  • Solid-color scrubs required
  • Optional travel to nearby clinics may be available
