About the Opportunity

Support a well-established, highly regarded surgical practice serving Orange County for over 30 years. This team of skilled general, vascular, and trauma surgeons has performed tens of thousands of surgeries and holds surgical privileges at some of the area's top hospitals and outpatient surgical centers. It's a practice known for treating patients, and each other, with genuine care.

What You'll Do

  • Greet and check in patients, and manage a busy multi-line phone system with professionalism and warmth
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, coordinating around multiple surgeons and procedures
  • Collect and verify accurate patient intake information
  • Verify specialist authorizations and hospital of record
  • Collect patient balances and co-pays
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the medical records system
  • Assist with chart filing and organization as needed
  • Bring compassion and patient advocacy to every interaction
  • Stay flexible and adaptable in a dynamic medical office environment

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office or related healthcare setting preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and EMR systems
  • Current BCLS certification, or willingness to complete within 2 years of employment
  • High School diploma or GED required

Why You'll Love It Here

  • Be part of a respected, long-standing surgical practice with deep roots in the Orange County medical community
  • Work alongside a team that values compassionate patient care as much as clinical excellence
  • Contract-to-hire path with a consistent, stable Monday - Friday schedule
