Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient service by assisting physicians and healthcare professionals in the examination and treatment of patients.
- Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Apply knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to accurately perform medical procedures.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coding medical procedures.
- Assist with basic life support measures in emergency situations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting to ensure quality patient care.
Skills:
- Excellent patient service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with both patients and staff
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs and documenting appropriately
- Medication administration techniques and safety protocols
- Familiarity with dermatologic surgery procedures and sterile technique.
- Understanding human physiology to perform medical procedures accurately and safely.

Requirements
Experience:
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (1+ year preferred).
- Previous hospital or clinical experience is a plus.
- Background in Mohs surgery or general surgical assisting.
- Solid understanding of dermatological surgery procedures and sterile technique.
License/Certification:
- EMA/EHR certification (Preferred)
- CPR/BLS (Preferred)
