CTEs collaborate with research staff, patients and Providers to drive trial recruitment and to support study specific training needs. The CTE acts as a strategic partner to both external and internal stakeholders to optimize the site experience and performance. Leads the relationship management and communication of medical and scientific information with health-care providers, patients, care givers. The CTE portion of position will be PT and Medical Assisting the Providers will be PT.
- Require direct interaction with patients to offer education on trial, disease, and/or device/medication
- Maintains and analyzes patient records to customize strategies to maximize patient pre-screening, screening, enrollment in trial
- Independently prepares protocol documents that comply with regulatory and institutional requirements
- Must have excellent venipuncture/phlebotomy skills
- Work one on one with our Providers. Primary responsibilities will be interviewing patients, recording patient history, taking vitals
- Obtain and record vitals signs, room patients and assist providers with in office procedures as needed.
- Data Entry into EMR-Medent
- Ensures that exam rooms are adequately stocked and cleaned at completion of each session.
- Ensures that instruments are cleaned, wrapped, autoclaved and properly cared for on a daily basis.
- Completes some clerical duties such as obtaining reports, making copies, and prepping packets.
