Medical Assistant Float - Noncertified or Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Nurse Assistant
Summary:
Looking for a self-motivated and multitasking individual. Assist the provider as needed. This individual will be expected to travel and work in all clinic locations (Clinton, Osceola, Warsaw, and Windsor).
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Positive attitude
- Team player
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer and phone skills
- Must be willing to obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- If no certification at time of hire, must be willing to obtain medical assistant registration/certification within one year
- If certified/licensed, must be in state of MO and in good standing
Desired:
- Two years medical assistant, CNA, or LPN experience
- Phlebotomy experience
Job Duties:
- Schedules appointments
- Takes vitals on all patients as required
- Obtains and updates all patient information as needed
- Assists patients as necessary
- Able to give injections and vaccinations to patients
- Learn and provide phlebotomy services
- Patient registration
- Organizational skills and prioritizing a must along with a great job ethic
- Must be willing to work in other areas as needed
