Job Summary
As a Medical Assistant you assist the providers and other support staff in providing direct patient care in the ambulatory Specialty Clinic setting. This position also requires assisting with medication refills and assisting other clinic assistants as needed. Rooms patients, takes vital signs, assists with performing minor office procedures, e.g., biopsies, injections, joint aspirations, wound care, etc. Acts as a liaison between physician and patient. Perform other duties as assigned. The position will primarily work days 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Requirements: Current certification as a CMA or licensure (LPN) or will obtain certification in no less than six (6) months of hire. Clinic experience preferred. BLS.
Wage
Depending on your work experience, you could earn a wage of $21.80 to $29.43 per hour.
