What You'll Do

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role within the healthcare team at Clinic 2, our family practice clinic. They provide essential administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operations and high-quality, compassionate patient care under the supervision of a medical provider. 

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and accurately document this information in patients' medical records.
  • Administer immunizations as necessary.
  • Perform blood draws and prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis when required.
  • Engage with patients to address any concerns or inquiries they may have.
  • Stay informed about public health policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Who We're Looking For

  • Courses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethic
  • Brings Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant experience, but we'll consider all experiences
  • Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community, but not required
  • Must have a current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.
