Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting physicians, nurses, and office supervisor with clinical duties. Cross training as needed per practice.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

1. Initial Intake
2. Patient Room Preparation, Before and After Care
3. Patient Order
4. Point of Care
5. Patient Safety
6. Attend Staff Meetings

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred: Medical Assistant Certification

Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: Preferred:

License, Registry or Certification: Required: Medical Assistant Certification required; must have CPR certification or obtain within 6 months

Preferred: Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Customer service skills required; computer skills, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills Preferred:
