About the Role:
We are seeking a friendly and organized MA with strong multitasking skills to join our team. Preference will be given to candidates with medical assistant experience. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming environment for our patients and providing essential administrative and clinical support.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Patient Interaction:

    • Greet patients warmly and provide a pleasant, professional experience.
    • Confirm appointments and surgeries through phone calls and text messages.
    • Assist walk-ins with inquiries, scheduling, and necessary paperwork.
  • Administrative Duties:

    • Handle multi-line phone systems to answer, transfer, and take messages.
    • Assist with mailing and correspondence.
    • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, appointments, and follow-ups.
    • Support billing processes as needed.
  • Clinical Support:

    • Room patients and take vitals.
    • Perform pre-operative blood draws and EKGs.
    • Assist in scheduling pre-op appointments and follow-ups.
Qualifications:


  • Excellent phone communication skills and the ability to handle a high volume of calls.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide clear, friendly, and professional communication with patients and staff.
  • Medical assistant certification is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in drawing blood, taking vitals, and performing EKGs is a plus.
  • Familiarity with billing systems and medical scheduling software is beneficial.
  • Spanish Speaking preferred
