Medical Assistant

This private, concierge medical practice is looking for someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to serve as its Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

• triaging and rooming patients
• measuring and recording patient vitals in the EMR
• administering immunizations/injections
• performing EKGs
• returning patient calls
• managing referrals and prescriptions
• obtaining prior authorizations for imaging
• obtaining prior authorizations for medication utilizing CoverMyMeds service

Applicants must have:

• Medical Assistant Certification, required
• Minimum of two years medical practice experience, preferred
• Proficient computer and EMR skills
• Strong communication skills
• Outgoing and friendly personality
• Team player
• CLIA certification
• Ability to multi-task

This position works weekdays only - office hours are:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
