Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable
Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this role, youll support physicians, nurses, and behavioral health professionals to provide exceptional care in a welcoming, patient-centered environment. Assist providers with direct patient care, procedures, and clinical workflows.
Perform patient intake, including vital signs, medical histories, and documentation.
Prepare exam rooms and ensure patient comfort and safety during visits.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR); experience with Allscripts is highly preferred.
Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times.
Maintain a professional appearance in compliance with clinical dress code (scrubs, closed-toe shoes, hair neatly tied back, nails short/clean).
Participate in quality improvement activities and support a positive, team-oriented work culture.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
Familiarity with EHR systems (Allscripts a plus).
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
Wednesday 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM / Occasional Saturdays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM in exchange for a weekday shift.
Pay: $21 $23/hour, depending on experience.
